Medical Students Supporting Healthcare Professionals
The ongoing COVID-19 crisis has put enormous strain on healthcare workers and their families as childcare and other important services are being shut down. We are a group of students primarily from various health care professions (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, etc.) organized to provide free childcare, pet care, and other miscellaneous services (grocery shopping, pharmacy runs, meal prepping, etc.) to medical professionals who are on the front lines of this pandemic. Our goal is to help alleviate the burden on healthcare workers in the Greater Portland Area as best we can.
Our initiative is based largely off MN COVID Sitters and we are especially thankful for the resources they have provided.
Please note this service is entirely volunteer and subject to change in accordance with demand and the continually changing CDC guidelines.
